This is not a week with island songs, nisiotika, i.e. traditional songs from the Aegean, even though you are warmly invited to explore nisiotika, both in past broadcasts of GME and in other platforms. This is a week with modern Greek songs that contain references to the islands. And indeed, the islands are present in too many art, folk and rock songs. In a way, they represent holidays, exploration and freedom. They are synonymous with celebration, adventure, beauty. From Folegandros to Serifos and from Melos to Anafi, here come our beloved islands included in equally beloved songs by, among others, reggae band Locomondo and ethnic artist Kristi Stasinopoulou.
Τραγούδια για τα ελληνικά νησιά, μέρος 1ο
Αυτή δεν είναι μια εβδομάδα με νησιώτικα τραγούδια, δηλαδή παραδοσιακά τραγούδια από το Αιγαίο. Είναι μια εβδομάδα με νεότερα τραγούδια που περιέχουν αναφορές στα ελληνικά νησιά. Και η αλήθεια είναι ότι τα νησιά είναι παρόντα σε πάρα πολλά έντεχνα, λαϊκά και ροκ τραγούδια. Αντιπροσωπεύουν διακοπές, εξερεύνηση και ελευθερία. Είναι συνώνυμα της γιορτής, της περιπέτειας, της ομορφιάς. Από τη Φολέγανδρο μέχρι τη Σέριφο και από τη Μήλο μέχρι την Ανάφη, υποδεχόμαστε τα αγαπημένα μας νησιά που περιλαμβάνονται σε εξίσου αγαπημένα τραγούδια καλλιτεχνών όπως οι Locomondo και η Κρίστη Στασινοπούλου.
