Mantzounia band was formed in Athens but its members come from different parts of Greece (Macedonia, Cyclades, Peloponnese). All of the band members have a particular taste for the sounds of Epirus, although their musical repertoire always includes Macedonian music, music of Thrace, Central Greece and the Cyclades, as well as their own creations.
Turning to Manitarock (mushroom + rock), this is a name that underlines the special relationship that the band members have with mushrooms and rock music. Manitarock were born and raised in Grevena, a place also known as the “town of mushrooms”. Passing through rock, rebetiko, traditional bands and Byzantine choirs, a great breadth of a musical spectrum is created.

Μαντζούνια & Manitarock
Τα Μαντζούνια δημιουργήθηκαν το 2017 στην Αθήνα, αν και τα μέλη της μπάντας προέρχονται από διάφορα μέρη της Ελλάδας (Μακεδονία, Κυκλάδες, Πελοπόννησος). Όλα τα μέλη έχουν μια ιδιαίτερη προτίμηση στους ήχους της Ηπείρου, αν και το ρεπερτόριό τους περιλαμβάνει πάντα μακεδονίτικα, μουσικές της Θράκης, της Στερεάς Ελλάδας και των Κυκλάδων, καθώς και δικές τους δημιουργίες. Περνώντας στους Manitarock, το όνομα υπογραμμίζει την ιδιαίτερη σχέση που έχουν τα μέλη του συγκροτήματος με τα μανιτάρια και τη ροκ μουσική. Οι Manitarock γεννήθηκαν και μεγάλωσαν στα Γρεβενά, γνωστή και ως «πόλη των μανιταριών», και συνδυάζουν περίφημα το ροκ και την παράδοση σε ένα ευρύ μουσικό φάσμα.
