Στο ιρλανδικό φεστιβάλ Αθηνών στο Πάρκο της Λαμπιδωνας στον Βύρωνα στις 22 Ιουνίου, λάτρεις των ιρλανδικών μύθων και παραδόσεων από όλα τα κοινωνικά στρώματα συγκεντρώθηκαν για να χορέψουν στους ιρλανδικούς ήχους και να περιπλανηθούν με τη φαντασία τους στον μαγικό κόσμο του Σμαραγδένιου νησιού της Ιρλανδίας και τα μαγευτικά του στοιχεία.
Tην Κυριακή 2 Ιουλίου 2023 στο Πρόγραμμα Infinitely Curious αυτής της εβδομάδας της ΕΡΤ και της Voice of Greece μάθατε για τα μυστικά και την ιστορία της παραδοσιακής ιρλανδικής μουσικής και ακούσατε τους μουσικούς Aidan Connolly, Pádraic Keane, Pádraig Mac Aodhgáin, Fearghas Mac Οι Gormáin, Ben Zilker, Cliodhna Begley και Caoimhin O Fearghail να παίζουν ιρλανδικά τραγούδια στο Ιρλανδικό Φεστιβάλ στην Αθήνα. Μάθατε επίσης από τον Caoimhin (Κέβιν στα Ιρλανδικά) γιατί ένα μικροσκοπικό όργανο όπως το ιρλανδικό φλάουτο έχει τη δύναμη να εμπνέει μυθικές ιστορίες υψίστης σημασίας και να διαμορφώνει το παρελθόν και το παρόν μιας χώρας.

Οn Sunday 2 July 2023 in this week’s Infinitely Curious Program of ERT and the Voice of Greece you learned about the secrets and history of  traditional Irish music and listen to musicians Aidan Connolly, Pádraic Keane, Pádraig Mac Aodhgáin, Fearghas Mac Gormáin, Ben Zilker, Cliodhna Begley, & Caoimhin O Fearghail play Irish songs at the Irish Festival in Athens. Also you learned from Caoimhin (Kevin in Irish) why a tiny instrument like the Irish tin whistle has the power to inspire mythical stories of paramount importance and shape a country’s past and present.
