Engineer Giorgos Katachanas, who was born and raised in Port Said and is originally from Kasos, talks about his 32-year travels at sea. He shares his feelings, thoughts and memories from the ships, ports, and seafarers. The most difficult moment he found himself in was when a tanker on which he was Chief Engineer was hit by a rocket in the Persian Gulf in 1985 by an Iranian helicopter.
