Maria Reboutsika
Maria Reboutsika was born in Kato Achaia. She started violin lessons at the age of 5. She has now completed her studies in Higher Music Theory at the Apollonio Conservatory of Music and holds a violin diploma. Together with her siblings, she formed the Reboutsika Siblings Quartet, giving concerts for the Greek Diaspora in Canada. As a violinist, she has worked with Greek composers and singers such as Hadjidakis, Theodorakis, Markopoulos, Alexiou, and Vasilis Papakonstantinou. She has sung with the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra and until ERT’s shutdown, she was a member of the Musical Ensembles, touring abroad and in Greece. She is a music producer for ERT’s Voice of Greece and Second Programme radio stations, hosting the show Musical Horizons.
