Elena Falirea

Elena Falirea was born in Athens in 1977 and has been involved in music ever since she can remember. She studied classical guitar and music theory, as well as journalism. Since 2000 she has worked professionally as a folk musician and singer and has collaborated with notable folk and traditional music artists. She has also taken part in concerts, tributes, festivals, and documentaries on Greek urban popular music, namely rebetiko. She is currently hosting the radio show Folk Paths on the Voice of Greece.
