2000. Two dear friends of Thanos Mikroutsikos, Alexandros Myrat and Haris Alexiou, propose to the composer to orchestrate some of his songs for a symphony orchestra, so that they can be presented in a concert at the Athens Concert Hall. Despite his initial reservations, the creator gives in to the pressure. He intervenes in thirteen of his best-known pieces and adapts them for Haroula’s voice and the Camerata Orchestra. The venture is crowned with success. Seven years later, the great creator finds the opportunity to use the old songs in their new, symphonic form. This time, he trusts the dynamic voice, expressiveness and discipline of an up-and-coming performer: Rita Antonopoulou.
