March 12 – the birthday of Manos Eleftheriou, which we are celebrating by listening to some of his most melancholic songs. Celebration together with melancholy, because this is the bitter-sweet feeling with which we have associated the absence of Eleftheriou. Happy and grateful for all the things that he generously gave us, blue and gloomy for the fact that he is no more with us. His unique poetic universe, his ethos as an active citizen and his profound humanism are greatly missed.
