The events of honor and gratitude for the thousands of dead, victims of the Holocaust, of the rebellious Kasos on June 7th, 1824, were reported on “Fair Winds and Following Seas” and the Voice of Greece.
This important anniversary was honored with the presence of the President of the Republic Mrs Katerina Sakellaropoulou, whom the Municipality of Kasos, through its mayor Mr Michael Erotokritos, proclaimed her an Honorary Citizen of the.
