Alexandros Giovanni was a guest on December 10, 2024, on the show “Voices and Music” with Alexis Kostas.

Alexandros Giovanni is a versatile artistic personality. A singer and songwriter, he engages with a broad spectrum of Greek contemporary and folk repertoire, as well as aspects of European music. He released his first album titled “33,” for which he personally handled the music and lyrics. Recently, he released “Silence,” the first single from his upcoming album, which will be released in a few months.

Since 2022, he has been performing solo concerts and, based in Thessaloniki, has built a loyal following. He is known for his powerful performances and the intense theatricality of his stage presence. He has performed as a soloist on major stages in Greece, such as the Royal Theatre of Thessaloniki, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Eptapyrgio Festival, the Mylos Warehouse, the Parathin’alos Festival, the Moni Lazariston, and the Avlea Theatre, as well as internationally, including at the Stuttgart Concert Hall (Liederhalle Stuttgart), the Cologne Chamber Opera, the University of Vienna’s ceremony hall, the Ehrbar Saal, and more. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Orpheus Kammerorchester Wien and the Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra.

He participated in the album “Portrait” by composer Michalis Goutis, as well as in the album “Diary of Fantastic Events” by creator Stavros Stavridis. He studied singing at the Prayner Conservatory in Vienna with Jörg Schneider, the tenor of the Vienna State Opera, and also studied melodrama under the guidance of Margarita Kyriaki-Wagner and conductor Werner Lemberg. Additionally, he holds a degree in Greek traditional percussion.
