Captain Panagiotis Bairaktaris from Thessaloniki and Panagiotis Iosifidis — both representing Seaven Tanker and Dry Management Inc. — together with Eirini Notia, founder and director of Project Connect, joined the program “Fair Winds and Following Seas” on Voice of Greece on Christmas Eve.
The guests spoke about the importance and practical value of the Adopt a Ship program — how it works and how young people and school students from across Greece are gradually introduced to the world of the sea, ships, and maritime life. Through this initiative, students discover different aspects of the maritime sector that may later inspire them to pursue careers in shipping and related professions.
The conversation also carried a festive spirit, as all three guests sent their warm Christmas and New Year wishes to Greek seafarers wherever they may be.
