The program’s guest is Lefteris Liakos from Stefanovouno, Elassona, in the Larissa region.
Three months ago, 26-year-old Lefteris traveled from Greece to Argentina, accompanied by his guide dog Hermes, to pursue his dream of studying Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires, despite having lost his eyesight.
Having already completed his studies in Psychology in Greece, he is now embarking on a second academic journey, standing as an inspiring example of strength, perseverance, and optimism.
During the interview, he speaks about his life in Greece, the long journey to Argentina, the difficulties and challenges of starting a new life in a foreign country, as well as the importance of equal access to education for people with disabilities.
Lefteris’s story is a moving message of courage and hope, and a reminder that dreams know no limits when there is determination and human support.
