A mountain village with only a handful of permanent residents, nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnon. Shaped by history, affected by emigration, and nearly abandoned, Vamvakou is now writing a new chapter as life returns to the village once again.
This is the spirit of the Vamvakou Experience Festival, which transforms the village into a living experience, inviting visitors to wander its narrow streets, savor its local flavors, enjoy its music, meet its people, and make the village their own.
