Our Town: Three paths through contemporary creativity | 6 July 2026, 22:00

On Monday, 6 July, from 22:00 to 23:00 Athens time, the Voice of Greece program “Our Town”, hosted by Themis Rodamitis, brings together three distinguished artists: author Pelagia Botsi, filmmaker Aristarchos Papadaniil, and guitarist, composer, and educator Nikolas Balogiannis.

Pelagia Botsi reads excerpts from her novella The Poor Relative, while journalist Erifyli Maroniti discusses the themes it explores, including music, theater, Cretan tradition, and the rich social world of the traditional Greek café.

Aristarchos Papadaniil reflects on Mauthausen, the film he co-created with Panagiotis Kountouras, and speaks about his creative journey across cinema, visual communication, animation, and other artistic endeavors.

Nikolas Balogiannis discusses music education, the renowned composers whose works he performs, and his experiences at international festivals. He will also perform live in the studio, offering listeners a selection of works from his repertoire.

Bringing together three artists from different creative disciplines, the program explores the many ways literature, cinema, and music intersect and inspire one another.
