They discuss the strong momentum of the Greek merchant shipping industry in recent years, emphasizing that continued support for the sector will create even greater opportunities for its future. At the same time, they stress the importance of attracting new talent to strengthen the industry’s workforce. As they note, “This support will help create even better days for shipping, but we must also attract new minds and skilled professionals to join the sector. We want to see continued progress and stronger collaboration for the benefit of Greece and the Greek economy.”
Reflecting on the wider maritime ecosystem, they add: “Banks, auditors, and the many professionals who make up the maritime cluster all contribute in their own way to helping Greek merchant shipping—the world’s champion—continue to thrive and once again claim the global title.”
