Katerina Theodosiou, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of TRIAD, joins Voice of Greece and “Fair Winds and Following Seas.”
Speaking from the Voice of Greece studio at Posidonia 2026, she discusses the strength of the Greek merchant shipping industry, describing it as a key pillar of the Greek economy.
Theodosiou presents TRIAD, the company she co-founded with her brother in 2007, with the support of their father. The company specializes in electrical and electronic systems for a wide range of vessel types, providing solutions that comply with the latest classification society regulations and industry requirements while serving clients across the global maritime sector.
Reflecting on her own journey into shipping, Theodosiou explains that it was her father who inspired her to leave journalism and enter the maritime industry. As she says, “The sea is my father. He was the one who took me from journalism and introduced me to shipping. The sea and shipping give me strength and motivation to create and to live. I love the sea deeply, and anyone who chooses this field will discover its countless opportunities and possibilities, provided they have the willingness to work hard.”
