Giorgos Pratikakis, president of the Hellenic Institute of Marine Technology (HIMT), joined “Fair Winds and Following Seas” to discuss the event preceding the 20th Annual Conference on Marine Technology, along with the institute’s other activities.
He spoke about ELINT’s development, its contribution to Greek shipping, and its annual conferences, which mark their 20th anniversary this year.
Pratikakis emphasized that this year’s conference will focus on maritime education, young people interested in careers in shipping, and the developments and technological advances seen in this fascinating sector in recent years.
