Gerasimos Gerolymatos, founder and managing director of ONDECK GROUP and organizer of the Olympic Yacht Show, Greece’s largest in-water boat show, joins “Fair Winds and Following Seas” on Voice of Greece.
“The 6th Olympic Yacht Show has concluded, leaving us with a deep sense of satisfaction and gratitude. Over four days, Olympic Marine welcomed more than 20,000 visitors, with 120 boats on the water and 400 brands represented. The participation of visitors, industry professionals and media representatives from more than 15 countries confirms the event’s international reach,” Gerolymatos says.
“We are already a major force in merchant shipping, and we can excel in this sector too, provided there is a stable, long-term policy framework,” he adds. “We work to bring industry professionals to the show so they can present their products and services firsthand. For anyone interested in working in this part of the maritime industry, it is an exciting field with considerable growth potential and good pay.”
