Stelios Ioannidis

Stelios Ioannidis is a trumpeter and composer. For many years, he was a musician in the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation’s (ERT) Contemporary Music Orchestra. Since 2016, he has worked as a music producer for ERT Chania, and now for Voice of Greece. He has collaborated with the ERT Symphony Orchestra, the Athens State Orchestra, and the Greek National Opera, as well as with Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis Papathanassiou, Mikis Theodorakis, Giannis Markopoulos, and others. He has served as the chief conductor of the Youth Philharmonic of the Municipality of Athens and as an artistic director at conservatories. His compositions include chamber music and orchestral works. In collaboration with the Regional Unit of Chania, Crete, he founded the "Musical Ensembles of the Chania Spiritual Center."
