Then, the Director of Seismology Research at the Institute of Geodynamics of the National Observatory of Athens, Gerasimos Papadopoulos, speaking about yesterday’s magnitude 5, on the Richter scale, earthquake in South Euboea, appeared cautious, as, as he stressed, there are still no clear signs that it is the main earthquake. As he said, there is an escalation in the magnitudes of earthquake activity in the region, which has begun with smaller magnitudes since October 25.
