Costas Tsoclis visits ”Our Town” on Voice of Greece | 19.11.2023, 12:00-14:00

On Saturday, November 19, at 12:00-14:00 Greek time (rerun on Monday, November 20, at 05:00-07:00), the show “Our Town” features Costas Tsoclis.

The acclaimed artist looks back on his many successful artistic interventions in Greece and the major cities of the world, his pioneering installations, the unique ideas he dared to implement, his validation.

In a discussion with Themis Rodamitis, he talks about the importance of art and the supreme mission of the artist, as well as the poetic, artistic and social dimensions of a work of art.

Colors, sounds, natural elements, stone, water, humble materials are to him reasons, inspiration, compositions, and creativity for what he calls “living art”.

Costas Tsoclis talks about the special “eras” of Rome and Paris and his collaborations with eminent figures of art.

Special reference is made to the Costas Tsoclis Museum in Tinos and its activities.

Thanasis Lalas, Marios Apergis, and the director of the museum, Chrysanthi Koutsouraki, speak on the show.

Broadcast: Sunday 19 November, 12.00-14.00 (Athens time)
Rerun: Monday 20 November, 01.00-03.00
