Ο Γιώργος Αλισάνογλου είναι ποιητής, μεταφραστής και εκδότης. Σπούδασε κοινωνιολογία και πολιτικές επιστήμες. Τον Νοέμβριο του 2005 ίδρυσε τις Εκδόσεις – Βιβλιοπωλείο Σαιξπηρικόν στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Η ποίησή του έχει μεταφραστεί σε πολλές γλώσσες, έχει συμπεριληφθεί σε ανθολογίες και έχει λάβει μέρος σε διάφορα ποιητικά φεστιβάλ και εκθέσεις βιβλίου στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
