Actor Kostas Kastanas visits ”Our Town” | 20.11.2023, 19:00

On Monday, November 20, the show “Our Town” is joined by Kostas Kastanas.

The distinguished and acclaimed actor talks about his important milestones and his long career, mainly in the area of the theater, remembers the exciting moments he had with leading Greek actors and teachers (Minotis, Paxinou, Solomos, Synodinou, Horn, and others), talks about the important plays he performed in, his relationship with the National Theater, as an actor but also as teacher.

Kostas Kastanas recalls moments from his life in Piraeus, where he was born, but also in Kallithea, where he lived for several years, and talks about his relationship with painting, music, literature. Special reference is made to his many interesting shows and participations in the “theater on the radio” of ERA.

The show focuses on the many rave reviews he has received. Special reference is made to the preciousness of the voice as an instrument in everyday communication and also as a tool in art.

The guest reads his favorite texts on set.
