Gkikas Magiorkinis, Professor of Hygiene and Epidemiology, is this week’s Remarkable Personality on Voice of Greece 

Epidemiologist and Associate Professor of Hygiene and Epidemiology at the Medical School of the University of Athens, Gkikas Magiorkinis is this week’s Remarkable Personality, on the show hosted by Mina Ralli this Saturday, December 23rd at 16:00 at the studio of Voice of Greece.

Mr. Magiorkinis shares with us the most difficult times he experiences as a member of the Committee of Experts on infectious diseases during the coronavirus pandemic.

He answers the question of whether Greeks and other Europeans should worry about “white lung pneumonia”, which mainly affects children in China, and explains why he believes that the next pandemic will be worse.

He also talks to us about the years he worked at Oxford and the brain drain phenomenon.
