The Voice of the Poets on Voice of Greece! | Thursday 21 March 2024, 18:00

Voice of Greece”, ERT’s world radio station, celebrates World Poetry Day and organizes an event entitled: “The Voice of Poets on Voice of Greece” on Thursday March 21st, at studio E, at ERT’s Radio Hall, Agia Paraskevi, at 6 pm.

Contemporary Greek poets will participate in the event by reading verses from their poems as well as Greek poets from the Diaspora. These are poets who have participated in the Voice of Greece podcast, “Poet of the week”, in its first year. Similarly, in 2025 an event is planned with poets who participated in the following years. A podcast that to date has hosted around 120 poets. The “Voice of Greece” is the only media that gives space and time to contemporary Greek poetry.

The poets participating in the event are (in alphabetical order):

Alexiou Nikos, Arvanitis Panagiotis, Veis Giorgos, Vistonitis Anastasios, Gkris Elias, Efstathiadis Giannis, Thanopoulou Katerina, Kanavouris Kostas, Karatzas Dionysis, Katsimis Spyros, Kyparissis Panos, Lillis Giorgos, Minas Alexios, Modinou Eva, Nicolaidis Charilaos, Pampoudi Pavlina, Papadopoulos Christos, Papacharalambos Konstantinos, Papoutsakis Giannis, Paschalis Stratis, Patakia Maria, Patrikios Titos, Pratikakis Manolis, Rakopoulos Thodoris, Sidira Angeliki, Stamboglis Stavros, Stefanou Lina, Tsaita Tsilimeni Valia, Christodoulou Dimitra.

At the same time, in studio E of ERT’s Radio Hall, songs of poetry set to music will be performed.

The event “The Voice of the Poets on Voice of Greece” will be broadcast live by the “Voice of Greece” for Greeks around the world and will be recorded for ERT’s Archive and will be available on demand.
