Takis Spetsiotis visits ”Our Town” | 01 Apr. 2024, 19:00

On Monday, April 1st, 2024, the show “Our Town” hosts Takis Spetsiotis.

The charismatic director and writer talks on the show about his films and the thematic recordings through them. (“Meteor and Shadow”, “On The Cosy Side”, “Crows”, “Lisa and the Other”).

He also talks about the theatrical direction of Roidis’ “Psychology of a Syrian Wife”, about the collaborations with ERT in the series: “Our poets”, “Seasons and writers”. The guest refers to the directors and writers he loves, poetry, literature, music, friendships, friends, neighborhoods with color, his own neighborhood, Petralona.

Takis Spetsiotis reads excerpts from his new novel “Prosefhes ektaktis anagkis” (Emergency Prayers) and remembers the night he lived with Themis Rodamitis at the Parastasi café, where six ladies-personalities of old Athens read “the red coat” of Costas Taktsis while his niece Taktsis interpreted arias that he liked.
