Markellos Chryssicos on “Our Town” | 12 July 2025, 12:00

The renowned and acclaimed harpsichord soloist Markellos Chryssicos joins the show “Our Town” on Saturday, 12 July 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (Athens time). 

In an in-depth conversation with Themis Rodamitis, he talks about the prestigious schools where he studied with distinction, his collaborations with major orchestras in Greece and abroad, and his role as a founding member of the baroque ensembles Ex Silentio and Latinitas Nostra

He also reflects on his participation in major and unique productions, such as Monteverdi’s “The Coronation of Poppea” for the Athens Festival, and Metastasio’s “L’Olimpiade” (Naive), which received the international distinction Choc Musique. 

Within the framework of the show, he will share thoughts on his favorite cities, his relationship with literature, and the social issues that concern him.
