“The Sea” and “Mantinada” are the topics that will be dealt with in “Saturday Shift”, the weekend special edition of the show “Fair Winds and Following Seas” with Antonis Karagiannakis, on Saturday, May 18, at 08:00 (and again at 8 pm). The guest for the day will be Panagiotis Moutsakis, who has been dealing with tradition and mantinada for many years and is the founder of the blog “Uncharted Greece” and a partner in “Taste Local Greece”. He will take us on a journey to incredible and unknown parts of Greece, describing some incredible recipes from the old days, which are going to be… extinct! He will also share with us the secrets of ‘Mantinada writing’ and explain why the sea from ancient times inspires islanders, Cretans and all Greeks to make mantinades for the sea, the ships, their journey.
