Marina Spanou visits “Our Town” | 10 Aug. 2024, 12:00

On Saturday, August 10th, the show “Our Town” will feature Marina Spanou. The talented singer-songwriter, who has achieved great success with a young audience and beyond, will have an in-depth conversation with Themis Rodamitis. She will discuss the distinctive features of her songs and share that for her, “the important things are the people, the places, the spaces where she finds her inspiration.” Additionally, shewill talk about her theatrical studies, her love for poetry, theater, dance, and radio, as well as how important friendship, companionship, love, and affection are to her.

Coming from a family with deep cultural ties, she talks about the significance of one’s roots. Special mention will be made of her travels, the cities she cherishes, and especially her beloved island of Tinos, where she plans to work for the first time on Sunday, August 11th.
The show will feature her popular songs such as “Postcard,” “Journey,” and “Ticket to Tinos.”
