Αuthor Christianna Gyra will join “Our Town” | 23 Sept. 2024, 19:00

On Monday, September 23, from 19:00 to 20:00 Athens time, the program “Our Town” on Voice of Greece will host the talented author Christianna Gyra.

She will talk about her first novel “Pro Bono,” which is based on real events in Latvia that had tragic consequences. Through these events, Gyra skillfully develops both the different psychological layers of the central characters and the mindset of a people striving to find their path to independence.

The guest in the studio will also discuss her other roles, focusing on business administration and economics. There will be references to her fairy tale “The Complaining T-shirt” and her future writing plans.

Christianna Gyra will share her interest in politics, noting that she sees herself as a citizen of the world and a lifelong learner. She will also express her love for the arts, particularly the theater. The show will touch on concepts such as freedom, homeland, friendship, loneliness, time, and desires. Beloved rock and jazz music will play, setting the tone for the atmosphere of her novel.
