Emeritus Professor of NTUA, Tonia Moropoulou, is this week’s featured guest, hosted by Mina Ralli in the studio of Voice of Greece on Saturday, October 12.

The esteemed scientist gives an in-depth interview on the show “Remarkable Personalities,” discussing her academic and professional journey, from her involvement in the student movement against the dictatorship and the Polytechnic Uprising to the present day.

She describes the challenges she faced as the scientific supervisor of the restoration works of the Holy Edicule of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, and numerous other projects from Crete to Mount Athos.

Ms. Moropoulou also reveals the secret behind the success of the Researchers’ Night at NTUA, a decade-long event that showcases researchers’ work, attracting over 15,000 visitors annually, and millions of online visitors worldwide during the pandemic.
