On the occasion of this year’s springtime edition of Vinyl Market at Technopolis in Athens, taking place on April 11, 12, and 13, 2025, we’re joined by three self-proclaimed “vinylholics” to talk all things vinyl—mainly, to listen to vinyl—and explore what exactly makes them such passionate collectors!
Dimitris Gletzakos and Giorgos Arvanitakis, aka DJ Becos—both bankers by day—join us in the studio, while on the line we have DJ Antonis Flipside, one of the organizers of the Vinyl Market.
Fun fact: the word vinyl comes from the Latin vinum (meaning “wine”), because the core component of vinyl is ethanol.
