Greek Music Express: Composer Vassilis Dimitriou: His erotic side | 07 Apr. 2025

This week, we will be remembering one of my favourite Greek composers who was born on April 12, 1945, which means that this Saturday we are celebrating the 80th anniversary of his birth. Unfortunately, this year is also the tenth anniversary of his loss, as he sadly passed away on April 28, 2015. Vassilis Dimitriou, a creator best known for his music for TV and theatre, also wrote exceptional songs. Today, we will be enjoying some of his most erotic, atmospheric songs, performed by Katerina Kouka, Christos Thivaios, Giorgos Dalaras, Haroula Alexiou and Aleka Aliberti, among others.
