The acclaimed radio series “Human Landscapes” (Τοπία Ανθρώπων) with Victoria Kavouriari returns to Hellenic Radio, airing on Voice of Greece, with a new season of thoughtful conversations and inspiring stories. In the season premiere, on Tuesday, 24 June 2025 at 22:00 (Athens time), Victoria Kavouriari welcomes Dr. Evi Nomikou, geodynamics researcher and professor at the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment, University of Athens.
Recognized internationally as one of the leading experts in the study of submarine volcanic morphology, tectonic activity, and hydrothermal processes, Dr. Nomikou takes us beneath the surface of the sea—to the volcanic landscapes of Santorini, Nisyros, and the wider Aegean—just days before receiving a prestigious international award for her groundbreaking work in the field of marine volcanology.
