The acclaimed bouzouki virtuoso, musician, and composer Dimitris Psarras will be the special guest this Sunday, 09 November 2025, on “Folk Paths” with Elena Falirea, live from the studio of Voice of Greece.
The occasion for this meeting is Psarras’s upcoming performances in Athens and Thessaloniki – yet the discussion will also explore his broader artistic journey.
Born in Serres, Dimitris Psarras began his creative path in his hometown before spending several years performing in the bouat venues of Thessaloniki, collaborating with major artists such as Stavros Kouyioumtzis and Manolis Rasoulis. His musical journey continues to this day with a strong recording and concert presence across Greece, alongside collaborations with Melina Kana, Lizeta Kalimeri, Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Sokratis Malamas, Giorgos Kazantzis, Orfeas Peridis, and many others.
In 2022, he released his first solo album, “Laika kai Xastera” (Folk and Clear), featuring lyrics by Lakis Teazis and Dimitris Lenzos. The album includes performances by Manolis Mitsias, Giorgos Bagiokis, Sofia Emfietzi, and Taxiarchis Chanos.
