On Monday, 01 December 2025, at 22:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” welcomes the talented theatre director and author Elena Karakouli.

Live in the studio, she speaks about her fascinating collaborations in the world of theatre, her studies in philology and theatre studies, and her teaching work at the German School of Athens in the fields of literature and philosophy.

Special emphasis is given to her latest book, “Ten Ways to Expose Yourself”, as well as to the production she recently directed, “MISERY,” starring Filareti Komninou and Anastasis Roilos — both warmly received by audiences and critics alike.

In an in-depth conversation with Themis Rodamitis, the discussion touches on the violence of our contemporary world, fear, love, the erosion of compassion, the place of women, and the unknown that lies ahead, in a time marked by profound and unpredictable global change.
