Film director Ismini Sakellaropoulou presents the documentary “Pass for Solidarity”, which sheds light on a dark and blood-soaked chapter in the history of the Balkans: the period of NATO’s bombings of the former Yugoslavia.
In April 1999, amid ongoing air raids, AEK dares to undertake a historic journey to Belgrade. The documentary captures powerful and moving moments from this dangerous mission, while those who experienced it firsthand recount their stories: footballers Ilias Atmatsidis and Charis Kopitsis, the heroic Manolis Glezos, AEK supporter Giorgos Angelis, and journalist Kostas Ketsentzoglou. Narration is provided by actor Giannis Vouros.
