“Social Circus” (Part I) | 20 Dec. 2025, 10:00

Social circus is a contemporary, participatory form of art and education that uses circus techniques—not for spectacle, but for empowerment. Through workshops and programmes, children, adolescents, and adults—often from vulnerable or marginalised groups—learn acrobatics, juggling, balance, dance, clowning, aerial skills, movement, and cooperative play.

This Saturday, 20 December 2025, at 10:00, Michalis Afolayan (Anasa Cultural Center), Natasa Chanda Martin (moving around music), and Ash Perrin (Flying Seagull Project) explain what an intercultural initiative grounded in the techniques and art of the circus can offer.
