Maria Kechagioglou on “Ariadni’s Thread” | 03 Oct. 2026, 10:00

How many different lives can an actress inhabit over the course of her career? What does it take to understand another person and give them a voice and a physical presence? And what stays with you when the performance ends?

From Didymoteicho and her studies in philology in Ioannina to the National Theatre Drama School, a long career in theater and Greek cinema, and her role as Stella in Yannis Economides’ “Broken Vein,” beloved actress Maria Kechagioglou joins “Ariadni’s Thread” this Saturday, 3 October 2026, at 10:00 Athens time. She reflects on her choices, her teachers and collaborators, her own experience of teaching, and the characters she has sought to understand and bring to life.
