SCHEDULE VOICE OF GREECE

Dimitris Varvarigos is the “Poet of the Week” | 16–22 Feb. 2026

Voice of Greece, ERT’s global radio service addressing Greeks around the world, with a mission to disseminate, support and promote the Greek language and culture, features the two-minute poetry tributes “Poet of the Week” as part of its regular programming.

Each week is dedicated to a contemporary Greek poet, while poets of the Diaspora are also regularly included. The poets themselves curate and record the radio readings, while the poems are accompanied by musical selections from beloved composers. Seven poems every week — one Greek poem each day — travel through the frequencies of Voice of Greece to every corner of the world where Greek voices are present.

The week from 16 February to 22 February 2026 is dedicated to the poet Dimitris Varvarigos.

Music supervision: Maria Reboutsika
Sound editing: Eleftheria Papoutsaki

Broadcast: Monday to Friday at 07:00 and 21:00 (Athens time) and on weekends at 19:00 (Athens time).
