A tribute to Andreas Karkavitsas, one of the key representatives of naturalism in Greek literature. The program explores the breadth of his literary work as well as his life on both the political stage and behind the scenes.
It also looks at his struggles in support of the Demotic Greek language and his imprisonment due to his anti-Venizelist and royalist stance. Paradoxically, during the same period, royalists were burning his books because they were written in Demotic Greek.
