Anna Sotrini is an author, poet and theater director. Since 1994, she has worked extensively in dramaturgical adaptation, directing, and lighting design for a wide range of primarily literary texts, including stage adaptations of Lambros by Dionysios Solomos, Pitsibourgo by Soti Triantafyllou, Sketchbook Block by Kostas Kartelias, and King Leopold II’s Apology by Mark Twain.
She has also designed the lighting for her own productions, as well as for productions by other directors, at venues including Athinais Cultural Center, the Athens Concert Hall, and elsewhere.
She teaches acting and improvisation at the Veaki Drama School. She has published both poetry and literary prose. Her latest poetry collection is Tableau Vivant (Kedros Editions, 2025).
