Guest on the program was Spyros Pilos, co-founder of the cultural organization “Mitos,” based in Luxembourg. Mr. Pilos spoke about the wide-ranging activities of the non-profit cultural organization, which seeks to strengthen the connection between Greece and Luxembourg and promote contemporary Greek culture in the heart of Europe.
Also featured on the program was Thomas Drakopoulos, president of the choir “Ellinikes Fones” (“Greek Voices”) and member of the organizing committee of the Paniyiri Greek Festival in Brisbane, which this year celebrated its 50th anniversary and attracted between 50,000 and 60,000 visitors.
The program also welcomed Giorgos Lignos, a musician from Brisbane, who spoke about the choirs “Greek Voices” and “Greek Voices Junior” on the occasion of their participation in the festival.
