On Saturday, 30 May 2026, from 12:00 to 13:00 Athens time, the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” with Themis Rodamitis presents four important Greek festivals and cultural venues with an international character, highlighting contemporary cultural creativity, the connection with history, and Greece’s dynamic presence on the global cultural map.
• The International Archaeological Film Festival “AGON,” which this year celebrates 30 years of continuous presence, screening archaeological and historical films of exceptional interest from around the world, especially from the Mediterranean region. It is an institution that connects research, art, and historical memory through cinema. The program features an interview with Memi Spyratou, film director, founder, and president of the Festival.
• The “HERAIA–PYTHAGOREIA” Festival, an internationally renowned event held in Pythagoreio, Samos, hosting distinguished figures from the fields of science, philosophy, and the arts. Through lectures, discussions, and artistic activities, the festival explores themes related to the philosophical history of the region alongside contemporary scientific achievements, creating a fruitful dialogue between past and future. The program welcomes the festival’s artistic director, Sotiris Margioris.
• The International “Lagonisi MusicArt Festival,” a distinguished cultural institution hosting artists from around the world and combining music, visual arts, and performing arts in a unique natural setting. Events held by the sea, at the open-air theater on Lagonisi Beach, create a special experience for audiences and artists alike. Musician and composer Popi Dalahani speaks on the program.
• The ever-active Cultural Foundation Of Tinos, a modern and welcoming cultural venue featuring multidisciplinary exhibitions, important conferences, musical events, and initiatives that contribute to the cultural life of Tinos and beyond. The program hosts its president, Filippos Pierros, who discusses the institution’s philosophy, vision, and wide-ranging activities, carried out throughout the year and offering significant cultural work.
