In the first part of the program, we speak with Maria Papageorgiou, President of Erifyli, the Association of Patients with Gynecological Cancer, about endometrial cancer, as June is Endometrial Cancer Awareness Month. Ms. Papageorgiou discusses the importance of early diagnosis and reminds us how essential it is to listen to our bodies and not dismiss symptoms as insignificant. She also highlights the value of support and solidarity, so that no woman feels alone in facing the disease, and speaks about recent therapeutic advances that are bringing renewed optimism and hope.
In the second part of the program, pediatrician Christos Bokos joins us to discuss what parents should keep in mind during summer vacations, the most common risks children face during the summer months, and the essential items that should always be included in a holiday first-aid kit.
