This Saturday, 27 June, from 12:00 to 13:00 (Athens time), “Our Town” on Voice of Greece welcomes two talented emerging artists, Theodoris Sarafis and Eleni Marra, whose latest music-theatre project, “Open Rehearsal” (Ανοιχτή Πρόβα), invites audiences into a world where storytelling, music and imagination constantly evolve.
They discuss their new production, Kiki and Manolis, inspired by Phoebus Delivorias’s song “Kiki.” The performance reflects the duo’s creative philosophy: crafting stories only to reshape them, building fairytale-like musical landscapes, and encouraging audiences to become active participants in a rehearsal that remains forever “open.” The result is an intimate theatrical experience that inspires reflection on desire, expectation, loss and dreams.
Theodoris Sarafis also talks about his studies in visual communication, his award-winning work in animation, and his relationship with music and performance.
Eleni Marra, a psychologist and Cognitive Analytic Therapy practitioner, discusses her background in physical theatre, mime, dance, music and singing, as well as her collaborations on productions for children presented in schools and hospitals.
Produced and presented by Themis Rodamitis
Broadcast: Saturday, 27 June 2026, at 12:00 (Athens time), with a repeat broadcast on Sunday, 28 June, at 01:00 (Athens time).
