On Sunday, September 27, Voice of Greece’s “Our Town” presents the first of two programs devoted to singer Mary Linda.
The program traces her artistic journey through the collaborations and songs that defined her career. It features selections from her wide-ranging repertoire, from light and contemporary Greek music to popular song, with special attention to her collaboration with Manolis Chiotis.
Bouzouki soloist Thanasis Vasilas joins the program. Nena Venetsanou, who worked with Mary Linda, along with Vangelis Korakakis, Gerasimos Andreatos, and Lysandros Falireas, also share their memories of her. Her performances remain a treasured part of Greek music.
