This Saturday, December 7, at 16:00, “Remarkable Personalities“, hosted by Mina Ralli, will feature a discussion with developmental pediatrician Eleni Karantana.

Dr. Karantana, a founding member of the Hellenic Society of Developmental Pediatricians and a member of the Greek Network for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and the Hellenic ADHD Study Society, will explore the role and importance of developmental pediatrics.

Key topics include:

  • What does a developmental pediatrician do?
  • When should parents consult this specialist?
  • Why is early intervention crucial?
  • Has the number of children with developmental and learning difficulties increased in recent years?

Dr. Karantana will also demystify autism, addressing common parental fears, and help distinguish between typical energetic behavior and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
