Apostolos Rizos comes to “Our Town” | 19 Oct. 2025, 12:00

The program “Our Town” on Voice of Greece hosts Apostolos Rizos, as part of the series “Greek Songwriters.”

The talented performer and musician, known for his “low-key” yet meaningful artistic path, has collaborated and studied with major figures of Greek music and distinguished teachers. As a restless artist, he seeks to create unique projects, theme nights dedicated to women, rebetiko, and art music.

In the studio, the guest will talk about his important collaborations with well-known composers, lyricists, and singers, as well as his preferences in Greek songs of yesterday and today. He will also reflect on the balance between individual and social life, on personal responsibility, citizenship, and the idea of an ideal city today, on his relationship with light, sound, image, the sea, and freedom.

The program will feature some of his most well-known songs. Tune in!
