On Monday, 02 March 2026, from 22:00 to 23:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our City” with Themis Rodamitis will host the well-known and widely acclaimed author Alexandros Asonitis.
The guest will speak about his literary work — his novels, short stories and theatrical writings. He will read excerpts from the collected volume of his short stories and will make special reference to his books “The Consciousness of Eternity” and “Life of Alexander.”
He will also discuss his efforts, through the institution of “Open Art,” to promote Greek culture in its various expressions. He will refer to important figures with whom he has collaborated, including Georgousopoulos, Skourtis, Vassilikos and Blanas.
In addition, he will talk about the music he loves and about his studies on rebetiko and laïko song.
